About the product

  • CAST IRON COOKING: This flat cast iron tawa pan has a smooth preseasoned surface that helps build seasoning. We use only non-GMO, kosher-certified flaxseed oil to season it, and it’s made without PTFE, PFAS, or other chemicals for natural cooking.
  • CAST IRON COOKWARE: This round budare has excellent heat retention and distribution and also has a loop handle for stability. It requires special care and should never be air-dried or put in a dishwasher. Follow the included instructions for proper care.
  • IDEAL DOSA PAN: To make delicious dosa, preheat this tawa on medium heat. Add oil and a piece of onion to keep your dosa crispy and prevent it from sticking. Add your batter. As it cooks, add oil on and around the dosa to lift the edges from the pan.
  • VERSATILE FLAT PAN: Our heavy cast iron pan weighs 5.5 lbs. / 2.5 Kg, is made with natural materials, and can be used on an induction cooktop, in a pizza oven, over a campfire, or on a grill up to 1,000°F.
