- WHAT IS A LIGNAN? - Lignans are fiber solids from the hull of flax seeds, and they are powerful plant polyphenols (think green tea and red wine). This antioxidant-rich substance may promote heart and circulatory health and support healthy joints.
- GIVE IT A GOOD SHAKE - Lignan flaxseed oil is unfiltered and contains particles of the whole seed, and they like to settle at the bottom of the bottle. This oil can range in color from gold or amber to dark brown.
- SUGGESTED USE - 1-2 Tbsp recommended daily. Simply enjoy right off the spoon or mix into salad dressings, yogurt, oatmeal, or smoothies. Not recommended for cooking. Also available without lignan in our red labeled variety which has a milder flavor.
